    True, but because I’m cross-disciplinary. The archaeologists understand my historical questions; the engineers understand the hydrodynamics. The other way around–not so much.

    Yup, I got one of these, PhD in Computer Science which involves formal logic and python programming in model checking, I give presentations and eyes glaze over.

    Well, molecular biologists that I talk to don’t really understand the G-quadruplex phenomenon, or if they do, they treat it as if I did research in invisible-unicorn-Santa-Claus-ology. That might count!
